At the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) Faculty of Humanities there acts the School of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners. It offers courses of the Polish language for foreign students of the UKSW and other educational programmes for foreigners who are not students of our University. Depending on applications, the courses of the Polish language and culture can be organized both during the academic year and summer vacations.

Programme of the courses

We offer courses of Polish as a foreign language on all levels of proficiency (beginner, intermediate and advanced). The participants take part in the course of Polish language on a particular level and develop their speaking, listening comprehension, writing, and reading skills. The programme of each course is adjusted to the needs and  the language level of its participants. The classes are conducted by well-qualified and friendly academic teachers and lecturers of the UKSW Institute of Polish Philology. Our academic teachers are geared towards coming up to students’ expectations. Their task, except transmitting the knowledge, is to get to know the interests and needs of the students.

Addressees

The courses of the Polish language and culture are addressed to all foreigners who are interested in the Polish language and culture. The classes can be attended by foreigners of Polish origin as well as people who had no contact with Poland before but they wish to learn the Polish language and about Polish culture for professional or personal purposes.
